Staff Portrait Photographer Hobart
Gone are the days where staff portraits were taken by a colleague with a mobile phone. To look professional, you need quality images, and that’s on of my specialties.
Staff portraits (headshots) are important for any business website. It’s an opportunity for potential customers to visualise who they are or will be dealing with.
I am a proud Tasmanian photographer, based in Hobart. I am proud of our businesses here in our beautiful island state. We should do all that we can, to support each other and if that means beautiful photography not just in Hobart but the entire state, let’s get to it!
Natural Light Photography
The other day I did a couple of courses. It's always good to keep training. As a Hobart photographer, sometimes you feel that we miss out on opportunities, but Tasmania had a visit… A visit from Peter Coulson, one of Australia's leading fashion photographers. It was...
Bahai Centre + Tasmania Golf Club | Hobart Wedding Photographer
Scott and Jenny live in New Zealand. They flew back here to Hobart (Jen's home town) to get married at the Bahai centre and then have their reception at the Tasmania Golf Club. One of the nicest things for me on the day, was meeting their friends and family who had...
Iron House Point | Hobart Wedding Photographer
White Sands Estate is at Iron House Point near Falmouth on Tasmania's east coast. Such a great place to have a wedding, especially with this lovely couple who had invited me along to take their wedding photos. The wedding had an organic theme that involved recycled...
Kris + Peta | Stonefield Wedding Brighton
The sun was making occasional appearances, it was comfortably warm and everything was going to plan, then the sky opened up and it poured - damn it! Stonefield at Brighton, is only twenty or so minutes from Hobart and is an amazing place to get married. It has...
Hobart Wedding Photographer | Frogmore Creek Winery
Recently I was lucky enough to photograph Mitch and Mel's wedding at at the lovely Cambridge Winery that used to be called Meadowbank - it's now re-named Frogmore Creek Wines. The day was hot, but great. I have been lucky enough to hang out a bit with these guys...
Richard + Sarah | Josef Chromy | Hobart Wedding Photographer

Amit + Julia | St Canice | Hobart Wedding Photographer
Amit and Julia were married at St Canice in Sandy Bay here in Hobart. The ceremony was held there because the church is very special to the family. I like it when there is a greater emotional connection at a wedding, everyone seems more involved in the fun. The...
Julien + Cass Wedding | Botanical Gardens Hobart | Hobart Photographer
The Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens is a great place, especially for weddings. There are lots of areas with differing backgrounds that can be used to achieve differing feels when it comes to formal wedding photographs. The other aspect to the gardens that I really...
Analogue Instagram
I have two old film cameras - they are the cameras I learnt photography with when I was at school... In my opinion, photography wasn't half as much fun then as it is now. I am impatient and like instant visual feedback (looking into the back of one of my cameras -...
Spring has sprung | Hobart wedding photographer
Wow. What a beautiful day it was for a wedding on the first day of Spring here in Hobart. We started off up at Mount Nelson Signal Station, with crisp clear blue skies and not a breath of wind. From there, it was off to the city for a touch of indoor formal...
