I been slammed with doing food photography over the past couple of weeks.

Capturing meals is always a challenge – especially when you’re recording an entire menu for perhaps the biggest restaurant in Hobart, as the kitchen really has to keep track of what’s being pushed out.

I se several light panels to do the food justice and spend a lot of time editing errant crumbs and marks on plates. But I’ve got to say, photographing a perfect looking meal is very satisfying – especially as it might just be mine a short time later… albeit a little colder than normal.

Food photography in the hospitality universe is really important and shouldn’t cost the earth.
