Today was the inaugural TEDx Hobart event. It was held at the Dechaineux Theatre (part of the UTAS Art School) in Hunter Street, on a beautiful sunny Hobart day.
I was lucky to be able to capture moments from the day. It was really dark during the talks and challenging to photograph. The content was really very interesting (as are all of the TEDx talks). I look forward to seeing the final clips when they are uploaded, so I can watch the speakers re-deliver their excellent addresses. TEDx is directly associated to the amazing ted.com, which I have been watching for years. TED is quite remarkable and being able to be there for the first TEDx Hobart was great.
Well done to Sophie Thomson-Webb and the the entire organising committee, as they created an event that all Tasmanians can be proud of. Great job by all the speakers too!
