Many of the brides I photograph wear wedding dresses that they have bought online. To be honest, they have all looked amazing.
I can understand the hesitation in buying online. The idea of the garment not being the same as what was in the photo, or it not turning up must be terrifying, considering you are buying for one of the biggest days of your life.
In Hobart there is a new little wedding dress boutique that has a very interesting business model. Tina bought her dress online and found the process a little scary. So, she decided to start her own wedding shop where she will order your dress online for you. To help you with peace of mind, she bought in about twenty five different dresses that she keep in stock. You can try them on, check the quality and look at the different styles. She has a change room for you to try anything on and you are more than welcome to take photos. If you decide on a dress and confirm your size – she will then order it for you – online. You have no risk. How she can manage to do this, is by ordering direct from the factories, as Tina and her husband Jason went overseas and set up special provisions with the factory managers. There is no middle man.
They also sell formal dresses, shoes, bags and clutches and wedding accessories.
