I love the Tasman Peninsula. I have worked and stayed there a lot recently while doing corporate work. It was nice to do another wedding there, this time at the glorious Stewarts Bay Lodge.
A glorious day in a beautiful setting always makes for a great wedding. Shane and Gracie were my clients, but I had photographed them quite a few times before at other weddings. So for me, this wedding was a nice catch up with friends, and not just the bride and groom. As for the wedding guests, there were four or five other couples whose weddings I had captured previously. Of course, it’s also the guests from all of these weddings combined that I have met on several occasions too. I must have known half the people there… It was great to call so many people by their names.
I got to catch up with the very talented hairdresser Ben O’Brien, who I worked with only the weekend before. He made Gracie look even more amazing than she already does. Sometimes it’s great to have a bride who wants “controlled” messy hair – a smart move… It can never look bad.
Fun times were had by all…
