I recently wrote about setting a tone when doing portrait photography.
Here is a good example. This is an amazing bloke – Tim. Many years ago he rade a run for politics and asked me to take a portrait that would be good for advertising material.
This is one of times that a photographer has to take into consideration; creating space for copy (the words) and setting the right tone. with political portraits, it’s essential that you make the subject look healthy, approachable and friendly.
It’s actualyy good fun, you just need keep capturing… you’ll know when you get it.
