For a photographer weddings are a mix of images and disciplines. It’s a mix of event and portrait photography. I’ve trained as a portrait photographer and am a highly experienced event photographer.
Weddings are about making a beautiful day, more beautiful. Back when I was starting out I did a stance traing course with an award winning photographer from Melbourne. We learned how to pose brides and grooms – how to stand, sit, lean , what to do with your hands and how to interact. It was probably the most important wedding photography training I’ve ever done.
