Recently I was lucky enough to be asked by The Old Woolstore Hotel (here in Hobart) to photograph some of their conference facilities. Pretty impressive facilities if you ask me, and literally only two minutes away from Hobart’s CBD.
As a photographer, getting enough light into such enormous spaces can be really difficult. It was really good fun though. The convention staff were on high alert as when I would finish capturing one room I’d go off to another and they would re-configure the original room into either a massive area or an smaller room – sliding walls, hidden cupboards and catering facilities appeared out of nowhere… very cool.
Its just a pity that I couldn’t fill the areas full of people to showcase just how effective their conference really facilities are…
