A business asked me today to write about myself and what I offer. Something that always makes me genuinely uncomfortable.
I am a really experienced photographer based in Hobart Tasmania. In saying that, I travel statewide and sometimes interstate. I have been a professional photographer for about 20 years. Before that, I was a television producer. It used to be called that, because I made a lot of broadcast television – I worked for the ABC for years, hence the broadcast TV career, and then, I moved into the commercial space. Recently I started making short clips for my photography clients, as well as capturing their required images.
I love the visual medium, it’s my natural environment.
I enjoy photographing people and things – portraits, locations, food, ideas… anything really.
The photo and video industry has allowed me to see a lot of the world. I have worked overseas, interstate and locally, which means I have met thousands of people. I have enjoyed meeting every single person.
