There is a real satisfaction in processing wedding photos to finish off a wedding. To be honest, I really enjoyed reliving the whole event all over again. It was a wedding that Kala and I photographed in February at Little Howrah Beach, just ten minutes from Hobart’s CBD. I wrote an entry about this wedding before (about what a great day we had) and I am really happy to now see the end result – the pictures are amazing! The sky was so blue and the sun was so bright, we had to bring out the polarising filters just to dial it down a little.
After getting a sneak peek at the wedding dress as well as the bridesmaids dresses, the best option was to photograph at Bellerive Fort on Kangaroo Bluff . The big grey walls were sure to bring out all of the colours. Also, it gave us the opportunity to get “kooky” and see things from a different perspective. It was a RARE warm Hobart day too, really quite comfortable.
Here are some samples. I hope you enjoy viewing them as much as we enjoyed photographing them. I really enjoyed processing them, making them better, making them pop!
