I was recently lucky enough to photograph a beautiful wedding at New Norfolk. Pete + Rachel met ages ago and fell in love. Their journey to their magical day wasn’t an easy one, as just three weeks before the original wedding venue was shut down by the council for not meeting the building code. Panic stations, all hands on deck, time to find a new location quick smart. They found this beautiful spot – The Glen Derwent Tea Rooms. It had everything they’d need. The family came together and had everything organised in no time… crisis averted. As a long time Hobart photographer, I’m a bit embarressed to admit I’d never photographed a wedding there. I’m glad I did.
