Some friends started a coffee shop/cafe, Moto Vecchia in Rosny, it’s amazing.
When they grew enough to go mobile, they bought this little van and fitted it out.
Whe decided to take publicity photos of it. On this day we kind of inadvertantly broke a rule or two. I wanted to make a statement by having the van have some space – to give it grandeur. We found a sports ground and drove it onto that – in the Coal River area. Publicty photography is about taking time, making an effort to make an image with an idea of how it will already be used. It turns out you’r not allowed to drive on rural sports grounds – we got yelled at, that’s fair…
