Good photographers are always looking for the best image to capture. If it’s not in front of you, you adjust things and make it work – I’ve always said “photographers don’t just take shots, we make shots”.
But sometimes amazing image just throw themselves at you, and when you’re a Hobart wedding photographer, you jump at the opportunity – the reason I mention being a wedding photog in Hobart is because we dont have the extraordinary architecture that other cities do.
This photograph is from a little while ago at Hotel Islington in Davey Street (chef’s kiss) and it just screamed to be taken – I saw the light, knew my settings and helped the bride strike the pose, but wow, what a capture?
